About Swift City
Swift City was created by seven Australian friends who have known each other since their university days. The idea was conceived in December 2005 on a short trip to Perth, Western Australia. Not wanting to spend money on a wordy and expensive travel guide, a much simpler alternative was desired. Swift City was born! The first travel guides on Swift City were Sydney, then Brisbane.Swift City officially launched in January 2007.
Harnessing the power of Google's amazing mapping software, and our own publishing system, Swift City is currently in the process of documenting many cities around the globe.
