Where else in the world can you find a beach next to the skyscrapers of a central business district? South Bank's "lifestyle precinct" also contains 17 hectares of parklands that are perfect for leisurely walks, bike rides and picnics. There's a weekend arts and crafts market, or check out the restaurant scene along Little Stanley St if you're peckish. A word of warning: avoid school and public holidays like the plague, when it seems as if every kid in town is there!
