Ask any Indian cab driver for their favourite Indian restaurant in Brisbane and they'll tell you it's Punjabi Palace. It's a big call, but we think it's the best Indian food outside of India! It even had to move down the road to bigger premises in 2005 as it was booked out every night. Not only is the food brilliant, the decor is also authentic and the latest in Bollywood talent is showcased on the plasma screen upstairs. The Lamb Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala are amazing (though try mild or medium rather than "quadruple Indian hot") and the Punjabi Naan is a must. Although service can be erratic, the food and ambience make this a must-visit for curry lovers.
