It's on for young and old at Perth Zoo, one of the most popular zoos in the country. Inside you'll find loads of native and exotic wildlife - it's almost like trekking around the world. Check out the wetlands area, where you'll see frogs, native birds, fish and the world's smallest penguins. Or pay a visit to Africa with its rhinos, giraffes, lions and zebras roaming. Plus, you can experience the outback with the sounds of the kookaburra's call and up-close encounters with kangarooes, emus, koalas and dingoes.

The zoo is open everyday from 9am to 5pm and will cost $14 per adult, $11 for students and $7 for children.
