Berardo's is the swankiest restaurant in town, and not without good reason. But we don't mean swanky as in showy (unlike most of Noosa). Instead, Berardo's is all class, with its elegant white decor, understated yet impeccable service and seriously amazing food. We'd even go so far as to say that it's one of Australia's top restaurants. This is largely due to the presence of Michelin-starred chef Bruno Loubet, who applies classic French techniques to the bountiful produce and seafood for which the region is renowned. The menu changes frequently, or there's a degustation option if you'd like to leave it to Bruno (and we think you're in safe hands there). The wine list is almost of biblical proportions, and the extra little touches, such as a complimentary amuse bouche, make this a truly special place. Average main: $33. Also look out for the more casual, affordable branch of Berardos Bistro on the Beach.
