Usually a quiet little town in the Noosa hinterland, Eumundi comes to life every Wednesday and Saturday morning for the Eumundi markets. There are now more than 500 stalls selling everything you can think of, and probably some things you can't. It's big on locally made arts and crafts and homewares, hippy dippy clothing and colourful jewellery. There are also plants, furniture, artworks and our favourite - terrific local produce including cheese, curry pastes and baked goodies. Parking can be a nightmare, so get here early if you're driving yourself. Otherwise, jump on a bus from Noosa or Nambour, or take a tour (see the tourist information centre on Hastings Street for more info).
