Australia Zoo was, until recently, the home of the Crocodile Hunter (aka Steve Irwin), and although his tragic death is undoubtedly a huge loss to the zoo, it's still one of the best in Australia. In fact, we reckon there are more reasons than ever to visit, if only to pay tribute to Steve's pride and joy. You'll find native fauna including Australian crocodiles, echidnas and Tasmanian devils, as well as imports like elephants and tigers. There are a number of live shows throughout the day and if you're lucky, you may catch the Crocodile Hunter's daughter, Bindi, performing.
