What can we say about this Aussie icon? The Opera House simply has to be seen up close and personal, from the inside and out. Then you can weigh into the debate: what does the roof represent? Sails, wings or waves? We're not sure either. But you've got to get inside the complex to truly appreciate the vision of Jorn Utzon, the Danish architect who designed the house. You can buy tickets for a symphony concert, an opera or a play, or there are guided tours which run every half hour - visit the booking office on the lower concourse for details.
