Celebrity chef and poster girl for modern Chinese cooking, Kylie Kwong, runs this little gem of a restaurant. And when we say little, we mean little. The room is tiny, the chairs (or stools, more like it) are uncomfortable and you sit elbow to elbow with your fellow diners. But that doesn't put anyone off - in fact, quite the opposite. A queue snakes outside the restaurant night after night, as patrons wait to put their names names down on the waiting list - no bookings are ever taken. So what's all the fuss about? Kylie's contemporary Chinese cooking is the drawcard, with its top-quality organic ingredients and exquisite flavour combinations. Your typically greasy Chinese meal this ain't. Signature dishes include crispy duck with blood plum sauce, eggs eith XO sauce and chilli-salt squid - we could probably reel off a dozen more. All we can say is get here early and stake your claim for a table!

Prices are reasonable (about $20 or so for a main) and there's a great value set menu if you're hungry.
