Location, location, location. If this was what you judged a bar on, the Opera Bar would be one of the best bars in the world. It occupies a prime position along the harbour facing both the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge - how do you top that? Locals and tourists alike flock here for drinks (get here early on weekends if you want a seat) or a meal from the Mod-Oz menu. Prices aren't too outrageous for Sydney (and the location) so you may end up staying here all night. Try and time your visit for dusk, so you can watch the colours of the water change and the harbour and city light up. Aww, how romantic!
