It's all about the view at Cafe Sydney. Well, almost. While tourists and locals flock here for the stunning view over Circular Quay towards the Sydney Harbour Bridge, this tres cool restaurant is worth a visit for the food and cocktails alone. Seafood is undoubtedly the star (try the prawns, barramundi or splurge on a $135 seafood platter) and there's a wine list to match. We recommend skipping the appetisers and having a main and dessert, as servings are large and the sweets are pretty special. Sunday lunch is the best time to come, when there's live jazz playing and you can while away the afternoon until dusk brings the dinner crowd. But be prepared to leave with much lighter pockets. Average main: $36.
