It seems like every tourist and busker in town makes their way here at some point. The terminal itself is not much to look at, and the shops and eateries here are to be avoided, but there is a nice little park on the western side of the quay next to the MCA if you want to take a break. Otherwise, get yourself on a ferry asap - Manly and Watson's Bay are our picks for the best harbour overview. There's also a train station here, or if you have to shop or eat, try the fancier places on the eastern side of the quay (underneath what locals call the "toaster" building).
