Mures promotes itself as "the ultimate seafood experience" and we don't think that's too far off the mark. Located in Sullivan's Cove between Victoria and Constitution Dock, the Mures Fish Centre complex incorporates three levels of dining. Mures Upper Deck is a seafood restaurant open for lunch and dinner with three dining areas, all with breathtaking water views and plenty of maritime décor. All ingredients are local from the fresh Tasmanian seafood to the vegies, dairy products and wine list. Our choice for dinner - the Blue Eye pocketed with black tiger prawns.
Mures Lower Deck offers a simpler, more economical range of choices at the bistro where you can enjoy fish and chips against the backdrop of fishing boats. Or for traditional sushi made with the best local Tasmania seafood, stop by the Orizuru Sushi Bar (and for those of you wondering, "orizuru" refers to the origami crane).
