You don't go to Little India for the ambience (chairs and tables with no decoration downstairs, a smattering of Indian décor upstairs) and the service basically consists of lining up at a counter and picking what you want from the simmering curries on offer. You go to Little India for the food. If the crowds don't tip you off, the first time one of their curries hits your tongue you'll realise that Little India is one of the best places for Indian food outside of India itself.
