The name stands for Tavern 42 degrees south, in case you were wondering. T42 is another top waterfront restaurant offering fantastic food and views. Visit and you'll wonder if Hobartians ever cook for themselves given the range of great eating places on offer. T42 offers breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, but no matter the time of day we can never go past their BLT sandwiches (contenders for the largest BLTs in Australia!). For something a little fancier, try marinated kangaroo for dinner, washed down with a fine Merlot.

T42 is open until late every day, serving breakfast from 7.30am Monday to Friday and from 8.30am on weekends.
