In our opinion, Siscos is the premier restaurant in Hobart. A friendly atmosphere and impressive views of the city or harbour (depending on which side you're sitting) make a good first impression. Things just get better with attentive service and the excellent Mediterranean-style food. It's hard to go past the paella, but once again any of the seafood dishes are divine (abalone for an entrée is a must). Save room for desert - while we favour the cold caramel soufflé, this may be one of the few times you can try a "heavenly piglet" (we'll leave that a surprise!)

Siscos serves lunch Monday-Friday from and dinner every day except Sundays and public holidays. Bookings are recommended.
