Calling all couples: Avica is designed for luxury spa escapes, romantic getaways and exclusive weddings. Its 40 hectares of gardens promise seclusion and privacy, not that you'll bump into many people - there are only 20 rooms here, each featuring a king-size bed and spa. Possibly the only downside to Avica is that the beach is a 15-minute drive away, however with massage and spa treatments, a superb restaurant in The Wattle Room, lovely walks and that spa in your room, you might not want to leave.

If your holiday is flexible try booking within 14 days of your stay, rooms are generally available for US$150 within that period, half the rack rate. If not, Avica run some great specials on the website.
