Hong Kong International Airport - Hong Kong, China
Lantau Island
Visit WebsiteThe world's fifth busiest international airport, Hong Kong's whiz bang, Norman Foster-designed terminal was opened on Lantau Island in 1998. To get to or from the airport, the Airport Express train is definitely the way to go. A single trip or a one-day return ticket will set you back HK$100, which is about one-third of the cost of a local taxi. Trains run every twelve minutes and the journey into the city centre takes 25 minutes. Disembark at Kowloon or Hong Kong Island, where you can pick up a free shuttle bus to most of the major hotels.
