Although poles apart in location and style, Goccia reminds us a little of the iconic TV bar, "Cheers", in that it's the kind of place where everyone knows your name. It seems like many of the patrons here are regulars, greeting staff personally and in return receiving favoured treatment and tables. But the staff are friendly no matter who you are (and will even spend time chatting to solo guests so they don't feel lonely!) All this comradery makes for a very laid-back atmosphere that you can settle into for hours. The Mediterranean-style tapas menu is delicious, and you'll receive complimentary freshly baked grissini to nibble on while you drink. And speaking of drinks, we love their lengthy wine list and the prosecco (an Italian sparkling wine) on tap. Prices are quite reasonable given the swanky surrounds.
