Even in the heart of Florence's central tourist (ie rip-off) zone, you can still find authentic wining and dining experiences. This lovely little wine bar is the perfect example. Le Volpi e L'Uva ("The Foxes and the Grapes") offers a compact but thoughtful list of French and Italian wines along with a selection of cheese, salamis, panini and focaccie. Can't decide? Ask the sommelier's opinion and drink it with the tasting platter of mixed antipasti. Take it to the outside terrace and you'll never want to leave.
