It would be a crime to go to Rome and not indulge in a gelato or six. And you will find an abundance of it whilst meandering the streets of the city - some excellent, some average, and some downright regrettable. However, Blue Ice, a chain of gelaterias throughout Rome, offers a good variety of flavours presented in elegant swirls that are just as good to look at as to gobble. This particular store, one of our personal favourites, is just off Piazza Trevi, allowing you to reward yourself after braving the crowds at the fountain.
