Home neither to a captain nor a giant stuffed kangaroo, this neat little bar is centrally located and a well-established fixture in the local pub scene. The big claim to fame for Captain Kangaroo is that they serve Osaka's biggest variety of beers. With more than 50 international beers already available, the owners are aiming for 100 (we sure hope they make it). In any event, the beer is cold and the regulars are friendly. You can kick off your evening with happy hour (6 till 8) and don't forget to try the hamburgers, which are among the best pub grub in Osaka.
