Every big city has a good Irish pub (or two), but few come better than this cosy watering hole. Unlike many imitators, this pub is actually run and staffed by Irish ex-pats and the decor is tastefully authentic. Murphy's was actually the first Irish pub in Japan and it's a hotspot among locals and ex-pats alike. They do some decent pub grub too, which is always a hit during football, rugby and Aussie Rules telecasts. Keep an eye out for the live music every Wednesday and Saturday. The line-up changes regularly and an open mic is not uncommon (so bring your best singing voice along).
