Cinquecento - Osaka, Japan
1F Matsumiya Bldg, 10-1-2 Higashi-Shinsaibashi
(+81) 6 6213 6788
It's hard to believe that the well-respected Cinquecento has only been around since 2003. In a city where a big night on the town wavers between wild and downright bizarre, this mingle-friendly martini bar offers a more refined alternative. The stylish décor and music, friendly international staff and lavish dark wood horseshoe-shaped bar provide the backdrop for the main attraction, a staggering range of martinis. With more than 100 different tasty libations, the biggest challenge is choosing which one to try first. The word cinquecento means five hundred in Italian and as the name suggests, you can indulge in anything on the menu for a mere 500 yen. They also serve food and of course other kinds of drinks (but we think you'll feel like a martini!).
