If it has batteries, a power cord or plays music, you'll probably find it here. Den Den Town is an enormous shopping district jam-packed with electronics and computer equipment. More than one thousand electrical stores compete for business along this kilometre-long stretch of road and its surrounds, with everything from department stores to the tiny little store which specialises in replacement keyboard keys (missing a Q?). Osakan consumers are notoriously fickle, making the city an ideal testing ground for the latest in whiz-bang products and experimental lines. If something has just been released, chances are that it came here first. Not just a paradise for techies and bargain hunters, Den Den Town is a great place to simply explore and discover the latest and greatest products.
