Known among the locals as "that Hawaiian place", Kua'aina has quickly established itself on the Osaka scene with eye-catching decor and unique burgers. All the staff wear outlandish Hawaiian shirts, but somehow this doesn't come across as overdone amid the surfboards, beach pics and palm trees, not to mention the local Hawaiian radio station they have playing. You can listen to the surf report, local news and rock songs from the '80s you haven't heard for years. As for what to order, well, being a Hawaiian place, it has to have pineapple in it, doesn't it? You bet. We recommend the pineapple and avocado hamburger set. It'll have you rethinking your approach to hamburgers (and trying to pronounce the name of the place so you can tell your friends). Average main: 1200 yen.
