Eating out doesn't get any easier than this. At Nasi Kandar Pelita you don't have to decipher unfamiliar words on a menu. Instead, an array of dishes are paraded on heated steel trays - you simply choose and point and the waiter will scoop your selected dishes onto your plate. The price varies depending on the number and type of dishes you pick, but most servings will cost between US$1.50 to US$3 per person. If you like your food spicy and soaked with gravy, ask for their specialty mixed gravy (kuah campur). It's open 24 hours, and there's an air-conditioned section upstairs if you want to escape the heat. Due to its close proximity to office complexes, the place can be very packed during lunch hours on weekdays.
