One of the oldest shopping centres in KL, Sungai Wang is found on the always busy and increasingly trendy street of Bukit Bintang. Despite the emergence of newer and bigger malls in the city, this place remains a favourite with locals and tourists. It's a great spot to pick up mobile phones, cameras, watches and very cheap DVDs. Nearly all the electronic items can be discounted for cash payments, however credit cards are accepted (the vendors will expect you to pay for the interest charges). There are also plenty of shops selling casual clothing, catering mostly to the young crowd with flashy fashions from Hong Kong and China.
