The name is kind of naff, but there's nothing passé about this trendy chain of cafes. Not only is Bakerzin home to one of Singapore's best coffees (using no less than Italy's favourite, Illy), they also offer a terrific dessert menus as well as a range of traditional European pastries and bread. But it's not just sweet treats here - to top it all off, the food is delicious and surprisingly consistent across the different branches. The highlight is undoubtedly the dessert tapas, a variety of small desserts served in miniature glassware - don't miss the Chocolate & Caramel Ice-Cream with Hazelnut Rice Crispies.
