Although it's by no means a typical Asian experience, Epicurious offers delicious European-style brunches in cute shabby-chic surrounds (perfect for when that Western food craving hits). It's right on the Singapore River so it catches a lovely breeze (although there is seating inside) and it's always full of expats. Try the breakfast burrito or the green eggs and ham (delicious scrambled eggs with pesto and fresh basil). Stocking cheese and various antipasti, Epicurious is also a handy spot to pick up picnic provisions. The coffee is very good and Aussies take note: they make a mean flat white and even serve vegemite on toast!
