Without a doubt the most stylish little cafe in Kampung Glam, Cafe Samar feels like it belongs on the set of Casablanca. The food is mostly Moroccan and North African, with delicious tagines and a particularly good roast chicken with yogurt sauce. You have to try tea of some description - we like the iced mint or iced Arabic with citrussy overtones. The only negative is that it isn't air-conditioned, although there are plenty of large fans to cool you down. The sunken leather lounges are very comfy, so it can be a challenge to muster up the energy to leave!
