Believe it or not, the London Eye was recently voted the world's best tourist attraction in a poll by snack food company Pringles - we're not sure how much credibility that has. But there's little doubt that the Eye offers unbeatable views of London (on a clear day you are meant to be able to see for 40km). Resembling a giant ferris wheel, the London Eye is made of 32 high-tech capsules, each carrying 25 people. The ride lasts for about 30 minutes, and one of the best times to make the "flight" (as they call it) in at sunset. It's extremely popular, so we recommend booking ahead on the net - as a bonus, you'll receieve a 10% discount for doing so.
