Trafalgar Square - London, UK
Trafalgar Square, London
Visit Website
Filled with people and pigeons (so watch your head!), Trafalgar Square is located at the geographical centre of London. A hub for tourists and locals alike, it's dominated by two large fountains and the famous Nelson's Column (erected in 1843). Not only is the square a great place to partake in a bit of people watching, it's also surrounded by some fantastic free attractions, including the National Gallery. At Christmas time you can see the giant Christmas Tree which is donated to the city from Norway. And a word of warning: feeding the pigeons is illegal these days so keep your breadcrumbs to yourselves.
