Could this be the oldest pub in the world? A small wooden-fronted pub hidden away in Covent Garden, the Lamb & Flag is more than 300 years old. It was once known as the "Bucket of Blood" due to the bare-knuckle fights that used to be held there! We love relaxing out the back around the inviting fireplace. And did we mention the beer? There's a top selection of real ale that draws the punters in. And they certainly come in droves, so when things get too crowded downstairs, head up the creaky old stairs to the upstairs bar and restaurant area to enjoy your drink. In summer, the outdoor courtyard is packed with locals chilling out after work, making it a great place to socialise with locals.
