Is there such a thing as British cuisine? Visit Rowley's and find out for yourself. Located close to Piccadilly Circus on the prestigious Jermyn Street, Rowley's is found in a building that was once the home of the original Wall's Butcher Shop back in 1790. Rowley's have managed to retain the charm of the building, restoring the stunning tiled walls and ceiling, along with the lovely stained glass windows. Trading since 1977, Rowley's house specialty is not to be missed - Entrecote Steak with a secret herb butter (£17.50), which is left to sizzle on the table. This is accompanied by an unlimited supply of crispy shoestring fries. If you need more steak you can buy another for only a few extra pounds - no wonder the regulars keep flocking back year after year.
