$8, $8, $8! Seeing this redundant number on the menu might make you cross-eyed, but believe it or not that is the price of every main dish at Black Bottle. Although Black Bottle calls itself a "gastro-tavern" with an extensive beer and wine menu, there's plenty of food available in oversized tapas plates. The portions are so large that you could easily do with one or two yourself and be satified. Or you could share with friends. There's an eclectic variety of plates with everything from Portuguese grilled sardines to German-style sausages. With its small and straightforward menu and simplistic decor, Black Bottle maintains its high quality while leaving all the usual pretentiousness of Belltown outside its doors.
