Situated just off Georgetown's M Street, this elegant restaurant gives new meaning to the term power lunch. Even on a Sunday, it's crowded with brokers and lobbyists in suits and heels. It's a place to see and be seen, and enjoy delicious food at the same time. Highlights include the fresh homemade pastas - we recommend the Ravioli Cavalli filled with veal and served with asparagus and porcini mushrooms. And just in case you need reminding of the city you're visiting, look up at the ceiling, which is decorated with a mural of local monuments, with George Washington at the centre.
