A trip to Capitol Hill's Eastern Market is a perfect weekend activity. The South Hall of this public market features purveyors of meats, cheeses and seafood. The longest line forms for Market Lunch, the corner restaurant known for its breakfast. While waiting for omelets, pancakes, grits and crab crakes, you can read the rave reviews on the wall and salivate. (We also like Tunnicliff's across the street for brunch). Outside Eastern Market's brick building is an arts and crafts fair from 10am to 5pm on Sundays and a flea market during those hours on Sunday.
