Zaytinya offers a taste of the Eastern Mediterranean - just steps from Chinatown. The popular restaurant serves Lebanese, Greek and Turkish cuisine in the form of mezzes (small plates). Wait staff recommend three per person, but that left us wanting more. Start with olive oil and oven-baked Turkish bread (pide). Then choose from meat, seafood or vegetarian mezzes like goat's cheese wrapped in grape leaves with Santorini tomatoes. Pair dishes with one of more than 100 wines. When you're not focused on the food, you'll notice Zaytinya's soaring ceilings and spacious bar. Dine on Wednesday evenings, when there's live belly dancing. Reservations are recommended for lunch, but limited to between 5.30pm and 6.30pm during dinner. The outdoor patio makes for good people-watching. Average mezzes: $4.50 to $11.95.
