The name of this tiny Lincoln Park breakfast café stems from its signature thick French toast served with heaped portions of fresh fruit. In addition to the French toast, eggs benedict with prosciutto, truffle hollandaise and potato wild mushroom hash, as well as the usual brekkie staples of omelettes, pancakes and free coffee refills, provide a good kick start to the day - or refresher from the night before. A bright atmosphere and quality ingredients draw many of the chic Lincoln Park residents. Toast shies away from reservations which does make wait times long, unless you're happy to dine along the bar.
