Located in a building that by all rights should be a three-story condominium, the Burwood Tap easily blends into the leafy tree-lined residential streets. The sign on the door telling you that, "If you can't come in, smile as you go by" and the year-round Christmas lights could make the Tap cheesy. The Tap, however, is decidedly non-kitschy inside and fills each night with local residents and college students. The atmosphere builds during the week with a wide age range mixing around flat-screen TVs, pool tables and free popcorn. This is the place to experience the neighbourhood bar scene and mix with locals over a pint.
