In B.L.U.E.S. Bar's skinny confines, often packed with people older than the faded memorabilia adorning the walls, singers belt out blues classics or simply entertain with stories - with or without a beat. The phone-booth sized stage is visible from everywhere including the door frame, which can be home for a while if arriving later in the night. A $7 cover charge is quickly forgotten with affordable beers and a steady stream of wallowing songs that remind you that your life isn't that bad.
